Adriane G. Berg

Adriane G. Berg is one of the most professionally credentialed voices on radio, television and at the podium. Attorney and longevity specialist, Adriane is the host of WLIE’s “WEALTH 102,” heard daily in the New York area and worldwide on the Internet. Adriane also host/writes the television special “Family Confidential,” and won an Emmy for her hosting of “IRS Tax Beat.”

Her humor and humanity are what the public relates to most deeply. Adriane speaks worldwide on longevity, successful aging, financial gerontology, and finding the life you love. She brings a practical, informal voice to topics shrouded in jargon and complexity. Her mission is to help us all embrace, not just face our expanding life expectancy. She realizes part of that mission in her latest book “How Not To Go Broke At 102: Achieving Everlasting Wealth,” a Wiley and Sons lead book, 2004.

Ms. Berg is the author of 13 books on personal finance. She is a frequent guest on a variety of television programs, including The Oprah Winfrey Show, Live with Regis and Kathie Lee, Good Morning America, as well as the CNN Financial Network.

Adriane is an inspiring “infoprenuer,” creator of two enterprises devoted to the dissemination of information in the areas of housing, health, personal finance, work/balance, and leisure. She created the WealthBuilder Newsletter, devoted to investor education, now in its ninth year. And she recently co-founded Generation B along with Anita Kramer, former Assistant Commissioner on Aging during the Guiliani Administration. The firm provides seminars, training and marketing concepts that reach the baby boom and active adult consumer.

Adriane has acted as consultant to numerous financial firms and social service organizations, including MetLife at Roslyn, New York Life Of Greater New Jersey and Hunter College’s Brookdale Center on Aging. She has been the spokesperson for the National Coupon Association.

Ms. Berg is a founder of the Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and served as Chair of the New York State Bar Association’s Subcommittee on Estate Planning. She was recently named to the U.S. Treasury Greater New York Committee for Savings Awareness and is a board member of the Women’s Leadership Exchange and the Foundation for Free Enterprise of NJ Commerce and Industry. She holds a J.D. from the New York University School of Law, where she was an Editor of the Law Review.
